High School Winter Sports Mandatory Parents Meeting

Where:

When: 7 p.m.

What:  The winter sports meeting is for all high school athletes and their parents who are interested in participating in a Winter sport. If you didn't attend the fall meeting, then you are required to attend this meeting.

Tuesday, November 30

Country Comfort Harvest & Holiday

Where:

When: 7-9 p.m.

What: Monica Musetti-Carlin and Mary Elizabeth Roarke, co-authors of Country Comfort Harvest and Country Comfort Holiday cookbooks, will present a cooking demonstration that you can use to show off in front of your holiday guests.  

Wednesday, December 1

Varsity girls basketball: Islip @ West Islip

Where:

When: 5:45 p.m.

What:  West Islip open up their season at home in a non-league matchup against Islip High School.  The Lions are looking to improve on their 8-5 campaign from a year ago. 

Thursday, December 2

Bayview Winter Concert

Where:

When: 6:30 p.m.

What: After months of practice, the students of Bayview Elementary are ready to put their musical talents to work and perform in their annual winter concert.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I think Proposition 2 is a great idea, in the current structure you have to "call out" anRead More individual basically saying "I think you are doing a particularly bad job". Politics get dirty enough as is and I think this will increase participation and ultimately give us a better Board of Education.
