Snow in Friday's Forecast Doesn't Change School Schedules
Reports expect 3-5 inches to accumulate on Friday.
West Islip could receive up to five inches of snow on Friday, according to the latest reports on Weather.com.
Snow is expected to start falling Friday morning and flurries could get heavy leading into Friday evening. Reports are suggesting anywhere from 3-5 inches with visibility from 1-3 miles.
As of Thursday evening, The West Islip School District said they did not have any plans of releasing students earlier than normal.
