Saturday Flights At MacArthur Airport Canceled

Airlines expect to resume service Sunday morning.

All Saturday flights at Long Island MacArthur Airport have been canceled.

That was the message to travelers on the airport’s website just after 12 p.m. on Saturday as the region struggled to recover from a crippling blizzard that dumped more than two feet of snow on parts of Long Island.

According to airport officials, Southwest Airlines is expected to resume operations on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Southwest customers can check southwest.com or call the airline at 1-800-435-9792 for information.

USAirways Express is also planning to resume service Sunday morning. USAirways customers can check usairways.com or call airline directly at 1-800-428-4322.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
