October 7: Varsity Updates

Five things you should know for Friday, Oct. 7.

The West Islip football team (4-1) dominated Central Islip last night, 42-12.  Anthony Santo led all players with three TDs (two passing, one rush) and Chris Belyski rushed for 106 yards on eight carries.

Also killing it lately is the girls soccer team.  They're currenlty undeated on the season (9-0) and are no doubt the team to beat in League II.  Amanda Martinez leads all players with 15 goals and Kelsey Olhbaum is leading the Lions in net with 29 saves.

School events: Westbrook summer reader breakfast (8 a.m.), Kirdahy's principal's summer reader breakfast (9:30 a.m.).
