March 22: Make Your Own Homemade Ravioli

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

1.  Make Your Own Homemade Ravioli (7-9 p.m.)

Chef Rich will take you through the process of making fresh ravioli. First you will learn how to make fresh pasta dough.  Then you will roll out the dough, fill and cut the ravioli.  All participants will take home a tray of ravioli they created ready to be cooked and enjoyed at home. Please bring a rolling pin and a large baking sheet to class.

There is a $6 materials fee payable at registration.  Please call ahead to make sure spots are still available, as these classes fill up quick. 

2.  In West Islip series continues today with No. 93.  Look for the story at noon.

3. "First Time Around" Prepared Childbirth Course (9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Good Samaritan Hospital)

Prepare yourself for childbirth with this crash course on the best techniques for that special moment.  Fee: $125.
