. has announced her first clothing drive of the year called "October Ribbon Week Celebration" scheduled to run Wednesday, Oct. 26.
The drive is collecting three types of goods for local charities (which are listed below, told by Gallozzi). All donations MUST be brought to American Legion Post 1738 by 9:30 a.m.
Donation No. 1- Last Year's Wardrobe

- A decorated shopping bag with clothes you bought last year to make a “new” wardrobe for the delight of another person of your sex and size. Label the bag accordingly. Think“head to toe” and try to include a dress outfit for the holiday season.
Donation No. 2- Halloween Costumes
- Have a costume that you wore last year or a few years ago? Bring it in a create a special memory for someone who can't afford one.
Donation No. 3- Candy, Stuffed Animals

- Please put ribbon, candy and a note on a small stuffed animal. Folks of all ages in local soup kitchens love to know they are thought about! It will
brighten someone’s day!
