The next installment of Southside Hospital's "Ask The Doctor" series, coming up on October 4, will discuss a topic that is on many parents' minds: drug addiction.
The forum, called "Crisis In The Midst," will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the East Islip High School auditorium on Thursday. All adult community members are welcome to attend.
n addition to the panel of four Southside Hospital physicians, guest speakers will include:
- Dr. Jean Cacciabaudo, Chief of Cardiology, Southside Hospital
- Dr. Michael Delman, Senior VP Academic Affairs, Southside Hospital
- Dr. Jeff Reynolds, Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists and guest speakers.
In addition, representatives from several organizations will be on hand to discuss a spectrum of addiction-related topics including the Suffolk Department of Health, a Suffolk County Police Department’s COPE officer and the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence.
