A thick fog has covered much of the south shore, including West Islip, cutting visibility and shrouding local homes, schools and businesses. The fog shows little sign of clearing as light winds will keep the low layer of clouds here throughout the remainder of Thursday. But don’t fret too much, the forecast for Friday on Weather.com calls for sunny weather and temperatures in the mid-70s.

Looking like London or perhaps Seattle, the hamlet is shrouded in thick fog, but clearing skies are forecast for Friday.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abiding…Read More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
