2 Injured in Bus Crash En Route to St. John The Baptist
Both injuries are minor, according to reports.
Two people, including a high school student, were injured in a bus crash in Bay Shore Tuesday morning.
According to The Associated Press, the bus and a car collided while traveling west on Sunrise Highway just after 7:30 a.m.
The injured, a 17-year-old student and the 39-year-old driver of the car, were hospitalized for minor injuries, the report stated.
A total of 27 people were on the bus, which was on its way to St. John The Baptist High School in West Islip, suffolk County police said. No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
