In just seven days, West Islip residents will be able to satisfy their frozen yogurt fix when Swirls & Twirls officially opens up at 494 Union Blvd.
The self-serve store announced that they will celebrate their grand opening from 10 a.m.- midnight on Friday, November 18.
And to top it off (no pun intended), co-owner Joe Sala said he'll be offering everything off the menu for half price.
“We don’t just want to give the people of West Islip a self-serve frozen yogurt shop,” Sala said. “We want to become a part of and contribute to their community."
Patrons be able to from 16 unique varieties of frozen yogurt that are offered; including Brooklyn Cheesecake, Raspberry-Pomegranate Pucker, and Banana-Rama. Sala says the best part is that most flavors are non-fat and less than 100 calories. Alternative options include gluten-free, kosher, sugarless and dairy-free. "It's a healthy product and can even serve as a meal replacement," he said.
