Roots Garners Two 'Finest Plates' Awards

Long Island Restaurant News ranks West Islip bistro on top in service and bar scene.

Roots Bistro Gourmand has been named one of the Finest Plates of 2013 by Long Island Restaurant News.

The West Islip-based, French-inspired eatery earned first place honors in both the service and bar scene categories.

A newcomer to the Long Island restaurant scene, Roots opened on Montauk Highway in August.
