Satish Duggal, an employee of Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center, was recently given the Catholic Health Services Living the Mission Award.
The award recognizes employees who exemplify the Catholic Health Services mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence.
Duggal, who resides in West Islip, is a Certified Nursing Assistant at OLC since 2004. He was nominated for the award by his colleagues.
“Satish always assists with my mother. He is pleasant and compassionate of all the residents in his care," said a family member of an OLC resident. "He is outstanding and goes above and beyond every day."
