New Chief Nursing Officer Joins Good Sam

Jeann Dzurenko has been appointed senior vice president of nursing and chief nursing officer for the hospital.

Jeanne K. Dzurenko was recently appointed Senior Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

Dzurenko comes to Good Sam with more than 25 years experience in nursing and healthcare operations. In her new role, she is responsible for the administrative and organizational plan for nursing care and patient outcomes.

Previously, Dzurenko served as the senior director of nursing operations, patient care systems at NYU Langone Medical Center. Prior to that, she was director of nursing at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone and director of psychiatry, epilepsy and radiology services for Tisch Hospital at NYU Langone.

She has also taught at New York University College of Nursing as an adjunct faculty member and is currently a content reviewer for Nursing Economic Journal.

Dzurenko received a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, as well as a master’s degree in public health from City University of New York Hunter College. She resides in New York City.
