As some of the biggest names in music take to the stage of Madison Square Garden Wednesday night, locals will be heading to the Lion's Den to watch the Sandy benefit concert.
The new West Islip bar and eatery is hosting a viewing party for the concert, featuring specials on food and drinks throughout the night. A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to the West Islip Lionheart Foundation, which has been helping local families in need since the Superstorm struck the area just over a month ago.
Patrons can enjoy $12 specials starting at 7 p.m., including a bucket of 4 beers, 12 wings and two "Hurricane" drinks.
