Good Sam Doctor Helps Make Mother's Dream Come True

Mark Pillitteri named hospital's Physician of the Quarter.

’s obstetrician-gynecologist Mark Pillitteri was recently named the hospital's Physician of the Quarter.

Pillitteri was nominated by Theresa Santilli-Grassi of Bellmore, who credits the doctor with helping her achieve her dream of delivering a healthy baby after previously giving birth to a stillborn 35 weeks into her pregnancy.

“He was able to recognize my nervousness, and take the time I needed to talk with him. Dr. Pillitteri helped me to achieve my goal−giving my oldest son a sibling,” said Santilli-Grassi.

Letters should be typed or printed legibly and contain the nominating patient’s name, address and phone number. Winners will be contacted by phone.
