Gas Prices Continue to Soar

Local stations going with the trend, charging big bucks for fuel.

The last time Patch reported on local fuel prices was , when stations were offering regular for $3.43 per gallon.

What a difference a month makes. 

According to LongIslandGasPrices.com, the lowest price now offered in the hamlet is $3.87, which could be found at the Valero station. And that could be the cheapest for quite some time, as prices are predicted to increase up to $4.50 by Memorial Day, says the LIBN
