Valentine’s Day Dinner Restaurant Guide

Valentine’s Day is just a week away and you still haven’t made those dinner reservations have you?

No fear, Patch wants to help make sure you enjoy a special meal with your special person and touched base with some local restaurants on Valentine’s Day menus and specials.

The list includes intimate settings, laid back ambiance and even dining-at-home choices.

Horace & Sylvia’s Publick House isn’t just limiting Valentine’s Day to February 14. The food celebration starts on February 12 with a special four-course menu for $49.99 per person. The eatery’s regular menu will also be offered in a limited fashion.

Gemellis is offering Valentine dining options at both its restaurant and and gourmet food store. Both offer up an extensive dining menu. Ristorante Gemelli’s San Valentino celebration offers a la carte choices from antipasto to soup and salad and nine entrée possibilities. The menu includes everything from stuffed ravioli to almond encrusted grouper to grilled skirt steak complete with a twice-baked potato. Gemellis Fine Foods Gourmet Market offers up dinner for two take-out specials for the big day. There are five appetizer choices, and  entrees include Tuscan tilapia and stuffed chicken with prosciutto and asparagus. Every dining order comes delivered with a fresh rose.

The Post Office Café is a romantic setting given the fireplace and cozy booths. Its Sweetheart Special menu includes a soup, a choice of three appetizers and five entrees, including pan-seared sea scallps and filet mignon. The desserts include molton chocolate lava cake and the Mirabella raspberry and white chocolate bomb. They also believe in expanding the celebration as the menu is available starting February 10.

Mulberry Street is offering both on-premise and take-out offerings for Valentine’s Day. There is an extensive take-out menu with free delivery to Babylon, West Islip and West Babylon. Click here for a delivery map.

The Babylon Carriage House is offering both a special a la carte V-day menu and a $24.95 price-fix offering on Feb. 12 and 13. There are seven appetizers and seven meals offerings on the February 14 menu.
