Delta and Valero Stations Offer Cheapest Premium Gas On Long Island

Patch's weekly gas column explores where the best fuel bargains can be found

For a third straight week, the Delta station at 305 Union Blvd. and Higbie Ln. is home to the lowest priced regular gas in West Islip.  Using cash only, residents can fill their tanks for $2.65 per gallon.

According to LongIslandgasprices.com, Delta's price is the second cheapest price for regular on the island.  Empire and Citgo in Rocky Point top the list at $2.59 per gallon, 29 cents below the Long Island average of $2.88.

The Valero station at 225 Higbie Ln & West Islip Blvd., which was recenlty under construction, is back open and offers regular for $2.69 per gallon. But like Delta, you must use cash to receive that price.
