Cafe Barile: WI's Newest Italian Eatery

Owners treated residents to a free tasting during a grand opening celebration.

Sal and Enzo Barile, owners of West Islip's latest Italian eatery Cafe Barile, have a wonderful business model; serve free food to the community in hopes of enticing them to come back for more. And that's exactly what they did last Wednesday.

The new authentic restaurant, located at 424 Montauk Highway, hosted a complimentary tasting as part of their grand opening celebration for the West Islip Chamber of Commerce and several other hungry residents.

The sampling included house specialties (like egglplant rollatini and chicken marsala), homemade bread and, of course, some fine wine.  Also presented was a full tray of rigatoni in a fresh red sauce with chopped tomatoes, onions, prosciutto and garlic.
