Business Beat: School District Mulls Lease with Atlantic Auto Mall

The Lion's Den hosted a special 12-12-12 concert viewing party to benefit the Lionheart Foundation.

Atlantic Auto Mall has proposed a deal to lease parking space at Masera School in exchange for a yearly rental fee and improements to several of the district's sports fields. West Islip Board of Education President Steve Gellar discussed the basics of the proposal at the board's monthly meeting thursday night.

Catholic Health Services of Long Island, which runs Good Samaritan Hospital, has replaced president and CEO Lawrence McManus after eight months on the job, according to media reports.

The Lion's Den hosted a viewing party for the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden. A portion of the proceeds collected from the night were donated to the Lionheart Foundation.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
