Business Beat: Blink Grand Opening, Chamber Selling Bricks for 9/11 Memorial

A weekly roundup of what's happening in businesses across West Islip.

The West Islip Chamber of Commerce is selling bricks to help support the construction of a 9/11 Memorial on Higbie Lane and Udall Road.

The bricks cost $100 each, can be engraved and will be included as part of the memorial, which is set to be unveiled on Veterans Day. To fill out an order form, click here.

Also, the WICC recently teamed up with West Islip Cares to present a plaque and check to the Jacob's Light Foundation for $996.50. The funds were collected as part of the Make A Soldier Smile Campaign. The Jacob's Light Foundation sends care packages to troops throughout the year.
