Business Beat: A West Islip Business Opens, Another Closes

Blink Fitness officially opened its doors, while Cafe Mojo said farewell to West slip.

It's a bittersweet week for the West Islip community, as residents simultaneously welcomed Blink Fitness while wishing farewell to Cafe Mojo.

Blink officially opened their doors to West Islip customers with a Grand Opening reception Friday. The 15,000-square-foot facility in South Bay Commons offers 150 pieces of strength and cardio equipment, as well as free weights. Monthly memberships are low, ranging from $15 to $20.

The Equinox-owned chain has already begun establishing roots in the community by recently joining the West Islip Chamber of Commerce.
