Sunday Kick-off for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in West Islip

Supporters can purchase a flag in honor of a loved woman who battled breast cancer.

The West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition is gearing up to kick-off events in light of October being commemorated as 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month' will start by planting over 400 pink flags this Sunday on the lawn of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center

The ceremony will be held on at 3 p.m. in the front parking lot of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center at 1000 Montauk Highway, West Islip.

Local residents have an opportunity to participate in this event, showing  love and devotion for a special person in your life who has been affected by breast cancer, by dedicating one of these flags "In Honor Of" or "In Loving Memory Of" that person. To participate and pay on line, please click on the button below o order a flag, please visit this website
