In continuing their mission to promote breast cancer awareness, the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition will hold a community awareness forum Wednesday at the West Islip Public Library.
The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Guest speaker Dr. Ilene Gewirtz will discuss breast health and early detection, and will field questions from audience members.
Infomation will also be available regarding the annual LI2Day Breast Cancer Walk, which takes place June 8 and 9.
Upcoming events and fundraisers for the organization will also be discussed.
