What's For Dinner? Webisode 3: Asian Salad

Babylon resident Derrick Prince, star of Fox's hit reality show MasterChef, walks A.J. and Chris through this cool summer dish.

Instead of stopping at local restaurants to see how the best food is prepared, we at Patch decided to get demonstrations by local residents right in their own kitchens to see what they cook to perfection.

"What's For Dinner?" returns with its third installment: Asian salad.

We recently visited with Derrick Prince, who's a contestant on the Fox reality series "MasterChef," with Gordon Ramsay.  (You can watch his show on Fox 5 Monday and Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.)

Among Prince's many specialties is an Asian salad made with kale and mustard greens instead of the ordinary iceberg or romaine.  A super healthy summer dish that you can prepare in less than 20 minutes.

You can view the recipe on his website. Also, follow him on twitter

If you would like to appear on "What's For Dinner" email A.J. at anthonyv@patch.com.

I was stoked he avoided elimination last night. His eggs looked delicious!
