Aidan Kelly Olympic Dream Comedy Fundraiser Night

December 23, 2011- Join us for night of great laughs and help support a local future Olympic hopeful in the sport of Luge at The Brokerage Comedy Club located in Bellmore on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 8pm.  Doors open at 6:30pm, please arrive by 7:30pm for the show that begins at 8pm.  Tickets are only $20/pp and require a 2 drink minimum.  Tickets to support Aidan Kelly's Athlete Training Fund must be purchased prior to the event as tickets sold at the door will not be applied towards the fundraiser .  In order to secure  your ticket please email meredith.kelly@ymail.com or call 631-539-4867.   Aidan Kelly of West Islip; a member of the USA Luge Junior National Candidate team is currently ranked 12th in the World after 3 successful Junior World Cup Races in Park City, Utah and Calgary, Alberta earlier this year.  Balancing academics and athletics is always an challenging task but this High School Senior at National Sports Academy in Lake Placid, NY has taken it all in stride having transferred from West Islip High School in his Jr. year in order to devote himself to the sport of Luge.  It has certainly paid off as he recently won a silver medal for North America in Calgary and a Gold at the Adirondack Luge Club Race "The Ice Breaker".  Additionally, Aidan  will be racing in the FIL (Federation of International Luge) Junior World Cup Races in the new year to be held throughout Europe.  Having aged out of the Youth A category Aidan now races in the Junior Men category ranging in age from 17-20 years old.Tickets to support Aidan Kelly's Athlete Training Fund must be purchased prior to the event as tickets sold at the door will not be applied towards the fundraiser .  In order to secure  your ticket please email meredith.kelly@ymail.com or call 631-539-4867.   If you are unable to attend but are interested in donating to Aidan Kelly’s Athletic Training Fund plese  email meredith.kelly@yahoo.com for more information.
