Where Are You Watching The Fireworks?
While Jones Beach is a no-go, Fireworks will be happening on the Great South Bay.
Each Independence Day, Long Islanders used to trek out to Jones Beach for a fireworks extravaganza over the shores. The show was cancelled in 2010 due to lack of funding to train and hire more state police, and hasn't returned since.
