West Islip's Cheapest Gas Prices

Delta, for the second time in as many weeks, is once again home to the lowest priced regular gas in town at $2.83 per gallon, according to LongIslandGasPrices.com.  The Delta station can be found at 305 Union Blvd. and Higbie Ln. and you must use cash to recieve the afermentioned price.

If that line is extending into the street, drive a few blocks over to the Gas Stop Station at 268 Higbie Ln. and Paumanake Ave.,  where regular is $2.85 per gallon.  Gas Stop is also home to the lowest priced premium gasoline at $2.99 per gallon.

But if you really want a bargain, hike a few miles east for the cheapest regular gas on Long Island.  That can be found at the Gas Stop Station in Bay Shore, where you can fill-er-up for a measly $2.73 per gallon. 

Gas prices are currently at a summer low, with the average price of regular on Long Island going for $2.87 per gallon, compared to June 5 (the peak summer month price) when the average was $2.95 per gallon. 

The national average price for regular is $2.71, beating West Islip's low by 14 cents.

Other stations in town that offer a reasonable regular gas value are the Citgo Station at 540 Sunrise Hwy near Malts Ave. ($2.89 per gallon) and the Getty station right across the street at 570 Sunrise Hwy near Malts Ave. (also $2.89 per gallon).
