After a week of frigid weather, the cold temps will carry us into the weekend. If you're trying to keep warm and stay entertained, we've got a few suggestions for you.
Lindenhurst native Pat Benatar and her husband Neil Giraldo will perform a benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy victims Friday night in Westbury. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
The West Babylon Fire Department Rescue Unit will host a Chinese Auction on Friday at the Fire Department Headquarters at 126 Arnold Ave. in West Babylon. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the auction begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8 and includes coffee, tea and cake. Items up for bid include a 32" flat screen TV, gift cards and more.

Catch a showing of Tim Burton's "Frankweenie" at the Deer Park Library on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the community room. All ages are welcome.
