West Islip Resident Honored by Our Lady of Consolation Colleagues
Ilene Gorstein cited for outstanding qualities by colleagues.
Ilene Gorstein, occupational therapist, recently earned the Catholic Health Services (CHS) Living the Mission Award for exemplifying the CHS mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence.
Gorstein, a West Islip resident, was nominated by her colleagues for her outstanding qualities and were chosen from among 33 nominees.
“Ilene is an excellent, respectful, trained and dedicated employee. She has brought me so very far and I trust in her ability to truly help me to walk again. She works with such integrity that all employers would wish such a person would work for them” said a resident of Our Lady of Consolation.
