Weekend Planner: Farmer's Markets, Classic Car Cruise

The west Islip Public Library is offering a Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served.

 will take place at the same place, same time as usual – Copiague's Oak Street and Great Neck Road Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Vendors from all over the area will bring fresh produce, meats, beers and more.

The Town of Islip Farmer's Market will be held on Main Street in Islip starting at 7 a.m.

Famed pop-punk band Boys Like Girls will be performing for free at the Tanger Outlets at The Arches in Deer Park at 6:00 p.m. Saturday. Get there early for a good spot, and of course, shopping.

Got a classic car, or love to look at them? Saturday nights at the Bob's Shopping Center parking lot is the place to go for the .  Classic car owners are invited to drive their vintage vehicles down and talk autos with other drivers and spectators. The event starts at 5 p.m.
