Weekend Planner: Fall Festival at Sagtikos Manor

Looking to save on insurance or take a few points off your record? The library is hosting a Defensive Driving Course starting at 9:30 a.m. The course lasts for six hours.

The West Islip Public Library is holding an ongoing Halloween costume drive for new and gently used costumes to donate to children in need. The costumes will be distributed through several Long Island organizations before Halloween. You can drop off your donation through Friday, Oct. 19.

Kids ages 3 through 5 and their parents can stop in the library Saturday for a fun art workshop starting at 2 p.m.

Got a classic car, or love to look at them? Saturday nights at the Bob's Shopping Center parking lot is the place to go for the Saturday Night Cruise. Classic car owners are invited to drive their vintage vehicles down and talk autos with other drivers and spectators. The event starts at 5 p.m.

With fall in full swing, Sagtikos Manor will hold their Fall Festival on Sunday starting at 11 a.m. Festivities will include a petting zoo, pumkin painting, historic demonstrations and more.
