Weekend Planner: All-District Concert, Movie at the Library

The West Islip Public Library is showing a free movie Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served.

West Islip's all-district concert takes place Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at the high school.

Take a tour of West Islip's new Bridges Academy, which is moving into the Kirdahy building. The open house is 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

In-Style Salon & Spa is selling purple hair extensions for $15 in honor of P.S. I Love You Day. All proceeds will be donated to the charity to help support suicide prevention. The fundraiser lasts through Feb. 8.

Acoustic folk duo Weevos is performing at LJ's Cafe in Lindenhurst Saturday starting at 7:30 p.m.

Head over to Babylon Village and catch some live music from local musicians at the Babylon Bean Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
