Weekend Events: Free Concert, Antiques Fair

It's one of the last true weekends of summer, so take the time to enjoy it.

Parents can for Team Heroes, a special soccer league for children with autism. Representatives will be in Room A at the from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

If you're heading out east, stop by the taking place at the Birdgehampton Community Center all weekend long. The event features 25 eclectic antiques dealers from the United States and Europe.

Got a classic car, or love to look at them? Saturday nights at the Bob's Shopping Center parking lot is the place to go for the . Classic car owners are invited to drive their vintage vehicles down and talk autos with other drivers and spectators. The event starts at 5 p.m.

Head to Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge Saturday to catch a of The Original Chimes at 7:30 p.m., followed by Kenny Vance & The Planotones in the finale of the Town of Islip Free Summer Concert Series Don't forget to bring a blanket or chairs.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. Politics get dirty enough as is and I think this will increase participation and ultimately give us a better Board of Education.
