Wednesday's Events: Lowe's Hands Out Thanksgiving Meals

Lowe's stores across New York will be handing out free Thanksgiving meals to residents on a first-come first-served basis starting today at 11 a.m. Each heat-and-serve meal can feed up to six people.

Moms can bring their toddlers down to the library for some "Mommy & Me" time. Two time slots are available: 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The library's Board of Trustees will hold their monthly meeting at 3 p.m.

The library is holding a food drive throughout the month of November. All donations will be sent to The Veterans Place in Yaphank. Donate this weekend if you can.
