Video: Crisis Response International Volunteers Help Sandy Victims in Lindenhurst

West Islip native Sean Malone brings volunteers to help with recovery efforts on the South Shore, Newsday reports.

Just before Thanksgiving, Crisis Response International, founded by former West Islip resident Sean Malone, brought volunteers to Lindenhurst to assist in the clean-up of the damage from Hurricane Sandy.

Newsday Videojournalist Jessica Rotkiewicz captured their efforts to help those devastated by the storm in the flood-ravaged village.

Crisis Repsonse International is a non-profit organization that trains and mobilizes volunteers to respond to disasters in the United states and throughout the world.
