Tuesday's Events: What's Happening in West Islip

Activities happening on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Toddlers can enjoy Story Time for Tots at 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the library.

The Patch Rebuilds campaign continues on Twitter – add #PatchRebuilds to your tweets, and each one raises $1 for AmeriCares and helps us donate money to the rebuilding of our area.

Enter a photo of your house decorated for the holidays in our annual "Deck The House" comtest for a chance to win $100,000 for West Islip Schools and $500 to pay your electric bills.

Good Samaritan Hospital is hosting its Drop-In Bereavement Group for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. The group starts at 6:30 p.m. The group is held the first and third Tuesday of every month.

You can thank all these POS politicians for the new gun legislation designed to make law abidingRead More citizens give up their second amendment rights out of sheer frustration and incontinence of owning a gun legally for increases in savage on citizen violence. This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
