Tuesday's Events: Presidential Debate Live Blog

Debate at Hofstra begins at 9 p.m.

Youngsters and their parents can enjoy storytime at the library on today. Storytime for tots ages 24 months to 41 months will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., kids are invited to make a Halloween-themed craft at the library. Parents and guardians are encouraged to stay for the duration of the event.

Also at the library, parents can take their little ones to Babies Boogie at 6:15 p.m.

The second Presidential debate takes place at Hofstra University tonight at 9 p.m. Patch will be live bogging the event, feel free to join us in the conversation.

There's only a few days left to donate a costume to the library's Halloween costume drive for new and gently used costumes to donate to children in need. The costumes will be distributed through several Long Island organizations before Halloween. You can drop off your donation through Friday, Oct. 19.

This is only the beginning and in short time many New Yorker's will be forced to remain in their homes fearing one of these animals will make them their pray. I for one believe in the old adage, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Politics get dirty enough as is and I think this will increase participation and ultimately give us a better Board of Education.
