Tuesday At The Library: Living In Japan

A look at events happening tomorrow at the West Islip Public Library.

Happening tomorrow at the West Islip Public Library:

• Our Life in Japan
7 p.m. to  9 p.m.
Carole and Richard Witkover will recount their experiences living in Japan with their two teenagers. Living among the people, the Witkovers were able to experience Japanese culture in a way not available to typical tourists. This multimedia presentation will highlight attractions across Japan, and their expert explanations of experiences will engage every audience member.

• Teen Volunteer Project: Operation Dog Biscuit
4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants make the dough and cut out the biscuits, and the librarians will bake them! The biscuits will then be donated to the local animal shelter. A great way to earn community service hours and make new friends. A volunteer service certificate will be given to each participant.
