Tuesday At The Library: Caregiver Workshop

Happening tomorrow at the West Islip Public Library:

Caregiver Workshop, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Caring for someone with dementia or Alzheimer’s? Melissa Gallagher-Goldstein, a certified Dementia Practitioner, will present an informative program on all aspects of caring for individuals with decreased mental capacity. Among the topics covered will be signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, and how to decrease depression and isolation. She will present caregiver resources that will help improve the quality of life for both parties.
