Thursday's Events: Elementary School Visits, Reptiles at the Library

More beautiful weather comes to West Islip today. Sunny skies with barely any clouds will make for the perfect end of summer week with highs only reaching 82° throughout the afternoon.

can visit their school today for a tour and to drop of school supplies from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Faculty will be there to meet and greet students.

Learn all about reptiles at the today. takes place in Room A and B, either from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Also at the library, kids can wear their pajamas and listen to a bedtime story during starting at 7 p.m.

It’s  at the American Legion Post 94 in Babylon. For $2.00, participate in multiple games of bingo with all proceeds going towards charities and local scholarships. Food will be available at the 7 p.m. event.
