Patch Forecast – Get ready for a wild ride of weather in the next week, starting Thursday evening. West Islip will see increasing clouds throughout the day and a high of 47° before heavy downpours of rain hit the area after sunset. Winds will also pick up through the night from 20 to 25 mph, gusting to 40 mph.
West Islip High School is hosting a Community Holiday Party tonight from 6:30 to 9 p.m. All residents are welcome to attend for a suggested donation of $5. Babysitting services are also available for $10. Money raised will benefit a local family in need.
Also at the high school is Open Mic Night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Good Samaritan Hospital sponsors a free Breast Feeding Support Group in Babylon at 1 p.m.
