The Week Ahead: Library Vote, Final School Budget Workshop

The West Islip Council of PTAs is holding a Blood Drive at Oquenock on Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The final school budget worksession will take place on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Beach Street cafeteria.

Residents can vote on the 2013-2014 budget for the West Islip Public Library as well as the library's trustee election on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, catch a performance of "Shrek" featuring local students presented by SEPTA at West Islip High School at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.

Babies and kids up to age 5 can take part in a family jamboree music class at In His Steps Dance Studio on Thursday at 10 a.m. through Tuney Tots.

The West Islip Public Library is also showing a free movie Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be served.
