Helping Hands in West Islip is hosting a holiday toy drive for local children in need on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 1738.

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., parent can pick up gently used sporting equipment—free of charge—through Operation Grand Slam at Kirdahy Elementary.
