The West Islip Community Team is sponsoring a Professional Networking event for West Islip students, alumni and working professionals on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the library. High school and college students can connect with professionals in different fields to get an idea of the career they would like to pursue.
Toddlers and their parents can enjoy storytime at the library on Tuesday. Storytime for tots ages 24 months to 41 months will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
A special Senior Fitness class starting at 11 a.m. Friday at the library will help seniors stay in shape.
In-Style Salon & Spa is selling purple hair extensions for $15 in honor of P.S. I Love You Day. All proceeds will be donated to the charity to help support suicide prevention. The fundraiser lasts through Feb. 8.
