Preview: Breast Cancer Clam Shucking Contest
Coalition will host the contest at Surf's Out Restaurant on Fire Island this Tuesday.
How do you like your clams? Baked, raw, fried?
On Tuesday, the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition will be hosting their 17th Annual Clam Shucking Contest at Surf's Out Restaurant on Kismet, Fire Island from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Among the day's festivities include music, raffles, a Chinese auction, silent auction, corn husking for kids, and a tennis clinic. THe WIBCC is also pleased to announce the grand prize to their raffle this year; a 2011 Hyundai Sonata donated by Atlantic Hyundai. But hurry and get your tickets because only 400 will be available.

Ferry ticket prices to Kismet will be reduced for the 9:25 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. rides. Also, tickets must be purchased at the Maple Avenue dock only.
