Jan. 9: What's Happening in West Islip
Driver education registration and knitting group highlight Wednesday's events.
At the high school, students can register for driver's education outside of the performing arts center from noon to 2:30 p.m.
A knitting group meets at the library in Room C from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In-Style Salon & Spa is selling purple hair extensions for $15 in honor of P.S. I Love You Day. All proceeds will be donated to the charity to help support suicide prevention. The fundraiser lasts through Feb. 8.
