Good Samaritan Hospital Celebrates Tree Lighting on Saturday

Event will include photos, a visit from Santa and caroling.

Good Samaritan Hospital is joining other local groups in ringing in the holidays with a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 8.

Community members are invited to attend the event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Festivities will include a tree and nativity blessing, photos in a snow globe "winter wonderland," refreshments and a personal visit from Santa.

The St. John The Baptist High School choir will also be on hand to sing carols.

Guests can also purchase a "Light of Love" to be included on the tree in honor or memory of a loved one. Proceeds will be donated to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
