The Babylon Village Board gave the go-ahead to the owners of Molto Vino as they prepare to expand the popular wine bar into a next-door space.
The bar will expand into the current Solo Vino wine store and the former Country Peddler, as well as add a new backyard seating area.
The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance seized Duffy’s Ale House, a popular Lindenhurst restaurant, on Wednesday afternoon for non-payment of taxes, closing the eatery down to the public. By late afternoon, bright orange signs that read “SEIZED” in bright orange along with two other documents from the Department of Taxation, hung on the doors.
From Sayville-Bayport:Sayville Residents Not Thrilled With New Bank’s Look
An informal poll reveals local residents aren’t too happy with the design of the incoming First National branch on Main Street in Sayville and more than a few would rather see Dairy Barn back on the site. Sayville-Bayport Patch reader Heidi Nemith calls its “ugly and mundane,” and lacking character.
