An Inviting Fire Island View from West Islip Despite Cold Snap
Even in the frigid cold this view of the bay from West Islip home is spectacular.
In some shorelines areas, ice-covered docks and mini icebergs are seen floating in the Great South Bay on what is likely a record-cold day in West Islip.
But these photos, sent in by a resident living on the shoreline, don't seem to illustrate the below-freezing temp that hit West Islip on Tuesday.
